TRANSFERRED TO NARVIK

Heia!!!! 

So I have just found out that I am going to Narvik!  Unfortunately that means that I will be leaving Bergen.  It is really hard to face but I knew that would happen someday...  I will be opening Narvik with a new companion..  He just finished getting trained so I will be his second companion or mothering him.  That also means that I will be senior, which is major intimidating.  But I am very excited for the new challenge and the new expirences!

Other than that things have been pretty stressful in the last week.  We only got to meet with D and Y once, but Y is kind of being evasive... so I feel like I might be leaving Bergen on Bad terms with them, so that is really scary. We have a meeting with them tomorrow, so hopefully everything goes well.  

I have to pack and stuff today for Narvik so everything is busy today.  I don't really have time for more.  I will have send the address for the new house next week.  I leave for Narvik Wednesday.

Sounds like things are going alright at home just keep going forward!

WE ARE FINDING A LOT OF NEW INVESTIGATORS, BUT FOR SOME REASON OR ANOTHER THEY NEVER SEEM TO TURN INTO PROGRESSORS.

Heia!  

Short letter is okay, I don't have a lot of time today. So my letter might be a little short as well.

In the past week we have had a lot of different things going on. Elder L had to go to Oslo for a day for a meeting so it was just me and Elder C here in Bergen.  So that was a way cool experience learning to be a senior comp. for a day.  I had a blast, not to mention we had a pretty good day out on the streets getting new investigators and what not.  So that was a blast. Elder L has to go back to Oslo this week for some more leadership training so it will be just us again.  Looking forward to that.  

The work is progressing here, we are finding a lot of new investigators, but for some reason or another they never seen to turn into progressors. D and Y are still doing well and still are working for the baptismal date.  Unfortunately Y hasn't been to church for several weeks, because of work and other reasons... so we are really working to get her there.  D comes everyweek though and is almost done with the Book of Mormon!  So that is way exciting.

Other than that not much is going on.  We are on the streets a lot trying to find new people.  

That is way cool to hear about that elder, super wierd too, he really does sound a lot like me!

Anyways that is all I have time for today.  Moves call is this sunday, so I will know next monday.

NATIONAL DAY N NORWAY

Hey Mom, it is good to hear from you again.  I have been enjoying the festivities of the 17th of May today! It is the national day here in Norway. Pictures are on the way!  It was probably my best day here in Norway, I love this place so much!  

I got my temporary permit.  So I have to take two practice tests and then the real one.  So that will be really fun!

Anyways nothing has really changed in the last 5 days.  So I am just going to send the pictures home from today and let you see the culture a little bit!  

Some things that might be cool to know, it is now light here till about 11 at night and gets light at 4:30.  So that is pretty cool.  Complete change from when I got here.  The pictures shall have

people wearing the traditional dress here which is called a bonad.

I hit my 6 month mark this week... that was the worst day of my life.  I can't believe that my mission is passing by me!  I just want it to last forever!

TIME IS FLYING HERE!

Det er godt å høre at du forstår meg!  Haha I am glad to hear that things are going well at home too!

The new apartment is okay.  It is definitely bigger than the last one and has a lot more space and room but it is just not the same without the family.  I am so sad that I had to leave that family, they truely were awesome.  The trio is going well.  We are staying super busy and have a lot going on.  We had our baptism on Saturday so that was awesome.  I was super jealous that I didn't get the chance to teach the man that got baptized.  He was super prepared and just had a super strong testimony.  But it was a great way to start our transfer as a threesome!

D and Y are both doing great.  Yelitza is back from spain now and has begun work.  So things are starting to be a little busy for them.  But as far as their teaching goes they are still making progress, so it is awesome being a part of it.  My comps' other investigators aren't really progressing.  But we are hoping to work with the family of the man that just got baptized on Saturday.

It has been raining a ton in the last week, I was soaked head to to the other day as we came inside from contacting.  It was pretty great!  We have a presentation that we are doing for a school class on Wednesday that I am really excited for!  

As far as Mother day goes I am probably going to skype we will be skyping from the family's home, so that should be pretty fun. 

Other than that things are going well here.  We are going to have a busy couple weeks going on til transfers in 3 weeks. Time is really flying here, it feels so wierd!
